 Froggin
Im lookin at gettin into froggin. I've chased frogs in old ponds before as a youngster but im lookin to do some where i get enough to make a meal. My problem is that i dont know where to go. Anyone on here live in galveston county, TX that might be willing to give up the location to a few frog holes.

 Re: Froggin
Not a lot of places in our area, at least not public places. You could try some retention ponds, or way up some of the local creeks. Seen a bunch up clear creek last summer... But idk if I'd eat anything that came out of that cesspool.

 Re: Froggin
Let me tell you a little story about frogging! I brought one of my pahnahs with me and the his first time and we was way back in the basin. I told him look I going to bring you on a early season this was the end of February, well the first night it was just us, the next night there was 2 other boats the third night there was 5 boats in hole and this was my sweet spot, well i thought. This dum azz was bring the frogs to work and showing his buddies and telling them where we was going so that third night I said Jude we going to find out who the fuk all these people are, well I saw all his friends that work with him and there friends too.... So needless to say me and him never frog again, and I learn my lease never give up a spot unless you blind fold them till you get there and when you leave [color=#FFFF00]Good luck finding you a place[/color

 Re: Froggin
My spot got raped because the dude lived at the launch and would always wake up to come look in my boat when I was coming in and would see the baskets of frogs. I was the only boat back there due to the limited access to the area. I told no one and my crew was tight lipped about the area but not the guy at the launch who told the folks that had camps there how good we were doing and they started showing up in force to wipe them out.
