 Reelfoot Anybody do alot of running on Reelfoot and Fishing?
Im excited that I get to take my boat down there and run it. We are going on a 3 day fishing/Im playing on the lake with my boat.
Never been on the lake but going with a bunch of guys that really dont know anymore than me and have been down there for the last 10 yrs. Are there certain areas of the lake that are better for crappies?
I know that noboby wants to give up spots but I will supply beer......he he
If not, I would like to try out my new three blade on a ride around to see the area.....

Re: Reelfoot I'm from the Franklin area. I do most of my fishing on the TN River but as of right now the river is 12 ft over summer pool haha. Never fished Reelfoot, but I heard it is pretty good. Anyways, I just purchased my first mud motor and getting it put on my boat next weekend. Let me know when you guys head out there if you want because I would like to do some ridin around out there.

Re: Reelfoot Trip was canceled, due to them blowing up the levi to save the towns. Maybe next yr....

Re: Reelfoot Never heard EXACTLY where they blew the levee but glad the trip got cancelled. I ended up boating a 42" muskie and we killed the sivers on my lake. Saved some money and kept the old lady happy too.....

Re: Reelfoot they blew a series of levee's over in missouri across from Cario IL, to flood some crop ground to keep from flooding towns around here...was down there yesterday and the day before and didnt really looked like it affected the lake, sure it was high but still very able to put boats in and run, Reelfoot is FULL of stumps and it was nice to be able to actually run around and not hit them.
