 Re: pass a loutre wma
I would say not worth the drive for deer the wma is mostly all rozo canes an the deer numbers are very low post katrina....on the other hand if you looking for hogs or ducks go for it....

I hunt the delta and was talking to the biologist and he said the deer down there were bigger but if the numbers aren't there I ain't going to mess with it

 Re: pass a loutre wma
If u hunt the delta, no reason 2 head all the way down to Venice. I know of one group of hunters that killed several 8's and a 14 PT. Ont the big island last year. Plenty deer on the other islands on the east side the channel too.

 Re: pass a loutre wma
I hunt the small islands that you speak of. Seen a few deer thus year. The people killing the big ones are mostly the people that been hunting there a while or friends with the gw or the gw go figure

 Re: pass a loutre wma
The delta damn sure aint easy, esp without a camp and having to make that long ass boat ride back and forth.
Have not heard great things about pass a loutre but have not personally hunted it.
