Finally got the work done on the Wrp. Enrolled 120acres...think they planted 40 in hardwood and 80acre reservoir. Hope more rain is in the future. They are setting up to pump if needed though. Gonna be a nice addition.

That's awesome man, I wish I had enough land to do something like that.

It's not mine. My dad and a few other guys went in together and bought some property along the river. I just serve as an animal control specialist.

Looks good. Where your place at in ark? I was just looking at some wrp last week. Enrolled 5 years ago . Now mostly planted in oaks. It's amazing how quickly they have grown. In 10 more years it will be some great hunting.

South Ark close to the red river. They planted the trees so they could be flooded.... one day

jlacour, do you know how hard it is to paddle a pirouge on a blue tarp, get you one of those wrp things instead

Med, the wrp we drove around was planted for the same reason. Pretty much a great way to plant the perfect flooded timber holes. These guys are up north in Augusta.

We are just south of you in Gregory. LOL we have a 10 acre wrp with 45 acres of oaks to flood in around 10 years.

Duck hunter were over In hunter. Just picked up a house for a good price. We were out there last week getting it fixed up. You hunt Black swamp much?

Yeah we get over there a couple times a year. I mostly hunt private. We are only 1/2 mile from the black swamp. One of my good friends hunts with the Echo boys (rick dunn). I hunt on the cache a bunch and of course the White river when the banks get out.
