 ooohhhwwwweee! we found some charpayonne 2day!!!!!pics! went way way back into maurepas swamp with jaden today. didnt catch any fish, but i dont mind these a bit!

Turbo I thought the same thing until I was at a friends house a while back and they were frying up some frog legs, shrimp and fish, with some of those tree shrooms battered up like the frogs...They were really good!!!!!!!! I'd eat em' again!!!

Re: ooohhhwwwweee! we found some charpayonne 2day!!!!!pics! my dad picked some off reserve canal right on the shore...i told him to leave the pickin to me...but he told me he thought he was gonna die the night he ate em. mushrooms absorb everything in their environment like exhaust, oil, gas, hell anything. so dont pick em 1)below the waterline on the tree, 2nd)only in places where there are no exhaust( far in the swamp away from streets n stuff), 3rd)only off tupelo and willow trees. and the stem never grows in the center of oyster mushrooms, its always attatched to the tree on the rear side.
