I traded my big pistol i was selling for this rifle. Its chambered in a .223 Remington that uses an ar-15 clip. I was wondering if anyone ever used one of these rifles before. im mostly using it to shoot hogs and coyotes with. Here is a pic of the gun.

The perfect rifle for police chiefs/sheriff's who don't trust their rank and file with the oh so dangerous, semi-auto AR-15. Also, a smooth transition to officers accustomed to the venerable 870 shotgun operating system.

Remington makes quality products and that gun is built to be rugged. If you're happy with it, then that's all that counts. Although I don't have an personal experience with this model, I have read that is fairly accurate which I would expect from Remington. It's not exactly my cup of tea, but it will work for what you're doing.

Slambin I have handled that rifle on a couple of events and can say that I agree with Bayou that 'its not my cup of tea either' My thoughts were to rechamber it to a 17 Remington for coyote hunting but upon handling it I changed my mind.

Thanks for the input guys. Its mostly going to be a truck gun. i wanted something short and easy to use. Im very hard on my guns and i figured this one would hold up to the abuse. Im not one for all teh ar-15 and other assult rifles. Im not looking to do anything other than shoot coyotes and hogs with it.
