Well... messing around on flea-bay, I noticed that if you hang on to your old decoys for a couple of decades, you can sell them individually - chipped paint, pellet holes, and all (patina, is what i think they try to call it now-a-days) - at a price that is way more than you originally gave for the whole lot ...
Of course by that time they will have come out with some app that you turn on and just chunk your iPhone in the water (of course it will still require an OtterBox) and a spread of holographic ducks will appear, so it would be basically targeted at those looking for the nostalgic approach, or just wanting to decorate the man cave...

I made some corks with my dad 25 years ago. We burned our last name into the bottoms. 5 years ago we seen some at a decoy show for $150 each. The guy told us they were 50 plus years old and the maker was well known on the west coast
