Didn't want to deal with the duck commando's today . So I hunted some small ponds in St Johns that hold some Woodys , Mergansers(which I pass on) , once in awhile Ringers and Mottled ducks . It was slow with me only getting two woodys and I missed an easy shot on two ringers that were together ,damn ! The dog wasn't happy . Still good to get outdoors . The afternoon after cleaning up , taking the wife shopping . Was almost a great day if I didn't have to go , she did buy me a new fishing reel for xmas

Man you gotta take the good days w the bad. I also only downd 2 woody's yesterday am too. Beats sleeping in.

Man some of the best times are the one's in a pair of waders in a big timber swamp and nada but a "tooeee" tellin' ya where they are!
