 Re: White Bass
Those things are a lot of fun to catch when you can run across a group of them. Good eating too.

 Re: White Bass
Fun as heck to catch on rattle traps. We usually chunk em on the bank for the coons to eat.

 Re: White Bass
I think at its lowest point, it was 8' low -- wish I would have made the trip just to see. It's still a foot or two low, but everything is navigable.

 Re: White Bass
yall have limits on them? ice fishing we fill up 5 gallon buckets. We usually just keep a bucket full then start throwing back because i dont like sitting around filleting fish for hours on end. Their okay eating I usually just take the tenderloin of the fillet. We can keep as many as we want no season dates or size limit

 Re: White Bass
They are hot right now where I fish too. Had over 200 on the clicker yesterday and almost 100 on Saturday. I personally don't think they are very good to eat though. If I want a fish fry, I'll go catch some sac a lait.

 Re: White Bass
theyre definitely fun to catch. we got a few lakes and river systems where the dominate. I do prefer other types of fish for a fry but I dont mind eating em at all
