Beretta A400 !! The Super Vinci I shot would not cycle old low brass shells and felt slick (No grip to it). The 2 guys that hunted with me with Versa Max both shit the bed before the season was over. But I know once a Benelli fan always one. The new A5 shoots nice too.

I like my SX3. It only hung up on me once and thats cuz the dog knocked it off the stool into the water and it filled with mud and grass. It will sling a low brass shell 15'.

Stick with Benelli. No need to lower your standards.

They are all good. Guess you get what you pay for. A400 also doubles as a very good paddle without any bolt on parts.

Made the switch from super black eagle to the a400 and I loved my black eagle. I thought I would never shoot anything else besides benelli and got a chance to shoot the a400. Smooth, handles all shells, and just feels good.

Know everyone has the preference for manufacturer. Just wanted to offer my .02 about the a400. Good luck with the search!

I have a sbeII and vinci. both great gun systems. i do favor the vinci more even though i can only shoot 3" with it. the location of the safety is nice, makes for one continues downward motion to the trigger as opposed to the sbeII. it does cycle a hair faster than the sebII and recoil is slightly less. not something you would probably notice if you hadnt cycled a bunch of shells through both at a range. both have very slim designs which fit great in the hand. the way the vinci breaks down is simple and easy, making it easier to transport if you have limited space. If i can sneak it past my better half i will be getting the supervinci before the start of this season.

A 400 and you WILL be happy. It will cycle loads the Benelli will jamb on every time and the recoil reduction is amazing.
If you decide to go with the Vinci make sure you shoot one first. I was gung ho to buy one at the same time my buddy did but he beat me by a few days. In the mean time I shot his and was amazed at the recoil. Bought the Extreme instead and NO complaints!

A-400 for sure, if I ever wear my xtrema2 out that will be my next one. The benelli m2 is a good gun, same as the sbe2, not a Vinci fan cause of how picky it is on what shells it will shoot.

Also I was about to buy the versa max but the guy told me to go with the sx3 becuase it has a more reliable system, its super light and has a very soft recoil.

Just looking at this thread it depends on what someone has as to what answer you get. Kinda like which mud motor will get it done lol. NOW......go buy you a sbe2 or a m2. They are the best haha

That's what I thought too. Last time I saw that much brown killed, we were hunting deer.

Color doesn't matter to me when it's a couple of 9yo doin most of the shooting. But if green is your favorite color then here some green.

I used to have a Beretta Al391. Great gun and affordable. Some of the Benellis just get a little too bulky and have too plastic for my liking. That all just depends on what model. I have personally shot over 2,900 rounds out of a Benelli Montefeltro and really liked the gun . It was light weight, compact and had a smooth recoil (only shooting 20 ga rounds though). The gas recoil might be a little smoother though with the Berettas though. Shoot both and make the call.
