OK so me and my girls are out in the marsh when my 9yr old hooks my 12yr old in the foot. So we're headed to the house. It is buried past the barb and I go to take it out and she screams. So my wife tells me no and we go to the er. As we are sitting there waiting to go to the back I look at the hook with the shrimp still on it and see the barb. I go to grab it and my little girl says no I'll do it.. she takes a deep breath and pop it comes out. The people in the er are crackin up at this point and rollin. My wife gets up and says we're gone she pulled it out. Nurses and all was laughing. And now we are headed back out to the marsh to go fish.... i got one tough little girl.

Glad u got out of the er bill. Watch it close for infection though!

OK. We been putting bacteen and neosporin (sp) on her foot. That marsh water put my paw paw in the hospital back in 95. He got a cut on his hand and washed it off in the marsh and got bad infection. His age didn't help nether. Well we went back and didn't get a single bite. Goin back tomorrow.

Wash it good with betadine. She's a tough cookie. My kind of girl!

Ok I'll check that out dip. I think they'd have a blast doin that. And yes tough women are gettin few and far between. Too many yuppy women now days.

My daughter would have passed out. I guess everything is tougher down south. I take a lot of hooks out of people with that line trick. It comes out so easy. No pain at all

Yeah There was an old couple in the er that was tellin me about the line trick. Im gonna try it next time.....
