Post Galveston area
Hey fellas I'm headed down to Crystal beach in September and I know as much about salt water as I do about noodling for gar. Would it be worth my time to drag my little prodrive up and fish the canal side for reds?

Fishing is good near Rollover pass as tides move...

You could fish from land or boat with good results...

With boat East Bay is nearby with Smith Point and other popular hot spots...

Try 2coolfishing.com for more info on east bay tactics...
