Meals
Tell me if this is crazy. When I go Hunting or Fishing for the day, I used to buy Army MREs. Now they are very hard to get and the cost is just too much. I am thinking of making my own by using something such as a can of Ravolies, Can of Peaches, Rice Crispy treat, a Soft Drink, can of Beanie weinies, maybe a Payday bar, and a piece of Candy, along with a Spoon, Fork, and Napkins. Only problem I cam see is warming the Main Course. What do you think?

Re: Meals
Set your main course on your exhaust after you get it nice and glowing red

Re: Meals
https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/sterno ... tane-stoveI have one of these for the boat. Comes with a plastic case and I pretty much throw it in my front hatch and forget about it. Cook breakfast burritos in the duck woods all the time and can do a decent shore lunch with a little prep work. Also comes in handy when your waders spring a leak and you need to get a little feeling back into your toes. Not an approved use of the stove though, so exercise caution with that one Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Re: Meals
Well I did it. I bought enough for 15 meals plus, as well as the 1 Gallon Zip Lock bags to put each one in. Cost me 88 bucks. That works out to $5.86 cents per meal and I had a lot of stuff left over. I put one can of Beef Ravaolie, one can of Beanie Weinies, one can of peaches, one small 8 ounce Dr Pepper, two small Payday bars, one Fruit chews, one package of Peanut butter crackers, a Fork, a spoon, and some Napkins in eack bag. MRE cost 7 bucks apiece and had less food. I have one of those Truck driver can heaters that plugs into the Lighter socket so it should heat the cans (if it dont blow a fuse). Have to see how this works.

Re: Meals
All you need now is a Salad and you have a 5 star meal! Do people really eat that much food while in the boat? lol The most I bring is water and a snack or 2. lol

Re: Meals
We eat like kings when we hunt. I take bacon, eggs, maple syrup, cheese, apples, croissants, the list goes on.... I invested in a small propane stove that I can prepare and cook everything on site. Why rough it Used to just do snack bars and a protein cookie.... Now .... More bacon Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk
