Saw a few small flights of blue wings today on lake Tyler while we were riding around. No big numbers. 10-20 per group.

Few and far between here in North LA.

Looks like we will have a limit of hunters for every duck, dont waste your time.

Guys working on our lease sunday saw a group of a 100+ birds.
I saw 4 of them about 10 miles offshore sunday morning, while out on a king fish trip. They were booking it south.

Went out to my lease Saturday and Sunday (27th and 28th), seen one flight/flock of maybe 12 - 15 on Saturday and none Sunday, granted I was out there mid day both days. Will be going out early on Monday to see where they are and hope for the best for the 10th. Got shallow water and lots of feed, so if they get here I should be able to find a few. It's a shame you can't shoot summer mallards durring early season because I'd be in business! A cold front would be nice too, damn its hot!

We should have the woodies too . We see tons of them every year while teal hunting. Sucks when 25 of them light right in the deks and can't do anything about it. Shit that sucks.then later in year they won't decoy to save my life oh well part of it
