Went and rode the fourwheelers on what used to be the north end of lake palestine today, saw quite a few groups believe it or not, jumped up a good bit of rainbows on the creeks, and saw a bunch of high flyers as well as low teal. Also saw a group of big ducks

Well went and checked our honey hole and just as suspected only about a tenth of the amount of bwt. Great!. Guess that north wind blew them south. Now there are only about 350 ducks in the hole. hopefully they hang out

I'm not seeing many teal in my normal spots (basin and a few other places). Are they still migrating down or is this about as good as it's gonna get?

I know the people south of oklahoma shoyld have plenty. Went from a couple of thousand too about 150 today. It was ruff hunting the slough we hunt is about 5 ft lower than normal. Making it about 1ft deep across with a bottomless pit of mud. I actually had to have my brother pull me out of mud that was over my waste. It was bull shit. I couldn't get too one of my decoys. No way of puting a boat in there. But we killed a 2 man limit. Ifeel sorry for my poor dog. Yall shoyld be covered in ducks .unless texas got them all .

Some of you South TX guys could ask a guy up here in the desert to take a ride down and shoot a few birds. I have truck, boat w/ blind, dog and beer...just no f-cking water or teal and don't have the time for Venice run this year. ;)
