Just got my first prodrive, a 36hp, and when I get in from offshore plan on doing some running around. I am curious if there is a site or place I can find informtion on were I can and cannot run a MM. I used to live in SE LA and remeber that Big Branch didn't allow MM what about South Central/Western LA? I am curious about Rockerfellow in particular. Wifey want to go crabbing when I come in. Are there an restrictions?

How about other areas south of I-10 between Baton Rouge and Tx border? Plan on putting some time in the boat when I get home. Want to make sure I limit my goverment contributions to taxes only ;)

between you & Texas you have some private marshes that have hp restrictions, but if you had access you'd know about them.

other than that there's the Lacassine Pool which has a 25 hp restriction in the pool. The rest of Lacassine you can run on but only in the canals.

That's all I can think of. have fun!

Lacassine pool now has a 40HP limit, My buddy works for the Us fish an wildlife. He works the lacassine pool and Cameron Prairie. Suppodely they raised the limit to get the surface drives to be able to run it.

didn't know that, but they prolly raised it to stop worryin about all those Tohatsu 40's runnin around there as 25 Mega imposters. lol Glad I sold my Mega when I did, they just dropped in value!

I doubt it was to help the surface drives gain access. I stopped by the main office one day to get a map/permit, and them guys didn't take too kindly to me. Gave me a big lecture about tearin up their marsh with my "go-devil thingy" and that they would ticket me if they caught me in the marsh in any kind of way. I just smiled and said they'd have to catch me first. lol

I called Rockefeller a while back. Only restrictions are for Air Boats.

Any where there is a boat launch that isn't posted you can find mud and veggies. Just have to ride around, and you can go to the rock. Take it whereever you want as long as you don't jump levees
