Post Winchester Shotgun question
I'm kinda in the market for a new 12 gauge. I've been shooting a Mossberg 835 Utili-mag for the last 15 years. I'm ready to upgrade to an auto. From the ones I've looked at, my chouce so far is the Winchester SX3. Anybody shoot one of these and can give me their input? Also, anybody shooting the SX2? What are the differences in the 2. I couldn't really find much info on the website about the differences.

I've been shooting an sx3 for a couple of years now. It fit me better than any other shotgun I've ever had. It's very simple to pull apart and clean. Maxxis can vouch about how hard I am on a gun and this one has surpassed my expectations. I've only had one set of shells that wouldn't eject and it was some knockoff brand skeet load. Mine has never jammed either. I would def recommend it to anyone in the market

Cowboy thought- a thong on a woman is like a barbed wire fence. It protects the property but doesnt obstruct the view.

Smoke I am a Beretta man but this past week I spent in Canada I shot a SX3 and really liked the way it fit me and the way it shot. If I was to buy a new duck gun it would be the SX3. I give it a thumbs up.

I've had the x3 since they came out with it. It was the first semi auto I have owned but I love it. I have been layout blinds, pit blinds snow mud rain never had it jam or misfire. It fits me great it is pretty light doesnt even kick to bad with the 3 1/2 in it. I would definetly buy it again

I have both of them. I put mine thru heck in the marsh and don't have problems with them shooting. The only problem I have had with the SX2 was when I was in South Dakota in below freezing temps and the gun did not want to cycle. I think I had to much oil in the gun that was causing it to gum up in those temps. The SX3 I only had for one season. SO for so good.

On a side note. Be careful with mosquito spray on your hands and touching the coating that is on the camo guns. It will break down the coating causing it to peel.

I bought the x3 in the spring, best semi gun ever made in my opinion.

everyone I know who actually owns an sx3 loves it. Good gun IMO. But, the sx3 and browning maxxus are basically the same, except the browning has a couple bells and whistles like the loading and unloading features. Thats the one I went with a love it.
