| Post subject: | ? About Texas rig decoys |
I have used two different styles of Texas rigged decoys, but they were other peoples setups. So with my minimal experience, I am trying to decide how I want to set mine up. I have seen them two ways: 1. The line has a loop tied in one end and a weight on the other. The mono is attached to the decoy with a snap swivel and when thrown the line slides through the swivel. 2. The line has a loop tied in one end and the decoy is attached to the other end. In the middle there is a slip weight, which when thrown slides to the bottom to hold the decoy. What r the pro's and cons |
