Well it looks like LA is getting the rain now...its been coming down pretty good for a couple hours and looks like its intensifying for hours to come. Do yall think this will help or hurt with the ducks in your area? Some of the areas I have been watching in the swamp had wood ducks piling up, but this might spread them out some. Tell us what you think. The US radar is showing only LA and North Miss. is getting it right now. |

Its building up for a storm here i hope this will get the deer plots to finally grow some right now its one big dust bowl up there. |

I just wanted to see if people's duck sighting will go up or down after the rain we got. Everybody was in such a mood that it would be a banner year...I just wanted to see if the rain would change it and spread the duck out some. As for deer hunting, it will help alot. It is what it is, and we will take it as it falls. We can't stop it.

it would certainly help us out up here because theres hardly any water to hold birds! but IMO we havent got quite enough yet! |

I wont curse the rain We still have not had enoug to make that much of a diffrence. I was at the deer lease in winnfield this weekend and they could use what the got pluss some. |

im glad we finally got some rain....my cows were starting to lick the fenceposts. as for duck hunting....i always have water whether it rains or not |

I think it will only help most folks up here. We were getting bone dry. I can't ever remember my lake hole being dry before. And its not enough to flood anything and most will just soak in. The standing water will filter down in a day or two. I needed this really bad and it came just in time. |

I hunted in 15ft of water last year and had a pretty good year. Really dont want to do it again this year considering im sitting on 11/2 foot now. Im looking forward to doing way better than last year. |

We had 30 and 40 foot lines on the decoys to get them to stay put where we hunt on the mississippi, we had to run the small boats with huge motors just to run against the currents and you can forget using a dog it was moving so fast. |
