Post 1st Deer
This past weekend. my son shot his 1st deer. A 100lb doe. Although I wasn't with him to share this awesome time, he was with his grandpaw, which was/is just as good.
It was shot in Dularge. As he was wlaking up to it a buck with a nice rack walks out on him. He shot at it but missed. I think he was shooting at the horns.
Anyway it's great to see him finally kill his 1st deer after many years.

Where they hunt, they aren't allowed to field dress them.
It's funny when I do it like this and people say, why do you hang them from the head and not upside down? It's 100x easier to nip the stomach lining and then cut right up the belly line. Allowing the internals to fall right out in the garbage. No reaching in and pulling out the internals.
This is actually my FIL's house after they got back. I got the call just before 9am. I usually go and help my FIL cause he's has a bad back and shouldn't be lifting and bending too much. He helps a bit, but I try to do most of it for him.
My son helped a bunch with the last few that we've cleaned in that very same place.
