I sure miss the ole college days. Kill a couple of those before class. Then, back at em in the afternoon. It was fun just trying to see how far you can call a woodie swimming in the timber with a whine call. |

There is nothing more exciting than sitting in a pirogue trying to paddle through the swamp to sneak woodducks. Get close enough to them so they don't see you then talk em in. Done that with woodducks and mallards in what is now Indian bayou wma but had the whole area basically to myself...paradise. |

man what a dream! you guys have it pretty good over there. here its like shoot whatever flies by, then find out what you hit lmao! Theres this one place i go to that its like a friggin rocket just went by you. during the morning hunts, sounds like a jet when they drop altitude from way up there. |

Honestly, I complain way to much about not killin many ducks. After hearin how bad the huntin is on the east coast I feel pretty lucky that at any hour of the day I can go behind the house and kill 3 woodies. |

Congratulations, Woodies are very rare down here in Florida and I've never been able to shoot one. Those are some beautiful ducks you have there. Congrats again. |

Other day, we had a flock of 6 of these all pour into the hole, all were males, and all died. |
