yeah im getting it mounted a pair of do grees came in and i shot both in one shot and when it hit the water all i seen was yellow and i didnt know what the hell it was. i was excited after i seen the band but i would think it would get stuck on grass and shit to

i dont know i guess whoever bands birds it had a number on the tag and i called it and had to give my info and their gonna send me a certificate or some kinda bs like that

I asked the women what was it for when I called the tag in and she said it was to identify the birds in the air to check flight patterns

The yellow tag is used for watching the ducks while they are on nest. They can be seen from long distances with a spotting scope and not bother the ducks at all. I have one also.
