 GREEN LIGHTS FOR BOWFISHING
does anyone or has anyone used or seen green lights used for bowfishing i seen some on outdoor channel a few years ago being used in florida but i cant find anything on them now as far as bowfishing is concerned just wanted to get some input on them they are suppose to penetrate the water the best was thinking of trying them out if they are a reasonable price

them are the gator pro lights not sure if u can gettem any more but they were around 200 buck each but awesome lights no dout we been usin 150 metel halides and 150 hps on our rigs

I have seen them used can't say they are any better than HPS. The guy said they were argon filled I think. 400 watt HPS are the best way to go.

If you are thinking about getting a light setup, take a look at Metal Halides. Not gonna get into it too much, just try the MH before you settle for HPS!

yeah my friend uses hps they work real good im getting 6 500 watt halos for free so im gonna go with those they should be enough i have a 1436 flat so cant put to much i just want enough to go have a good time i was just wondering about going with the green ones though i wanted to see if they worked as good as i seen on that tv show out of florida

We used to have two of them for off the back of the boat, and like said above were just argon gas filled. Had great penetration on them for muddy water.
