Look at the snakes body compared to this mans leg. The knife in this picture beging used to cut the snakes teeeth out is 6 inches long. The daimond rattler was 15 foot long and weighed 170 pounds (how much do you weigh). Getting a bite by this thing would be like stabbing your self with a 1\4 inch screw driver. Bad dude. Caught in Florida by a golf course\subdivision. Makes you wonder where has it been living what has it been eating and where is its off spring? |

The long pole made me think the snake was a lot closer to the camera creating an "illusion" so I did a bit of searching.... That's the biggest rattler I've ever seen. I shot a 9' db out in mason a couple years ago...and that was a scary big snake. This thing is huge.....screw cats he was eating EVERYTHING guaranteed. |

that thing is huge we kill them every year at my camp the biggest was 5 1/2 foot and had 17 rattles and a button |
