I just wanted to give anyone a heads up who likes to bass fish, enjoys competition, and a chance to win some money. A buddy of mine started this bass club a couple of years ago and so far its done pretty good. Membership is $30 A person with a $35 entry fee per tournament. We fish on Rayburn and Toledo Bend on dates schedule around the bigger tournaments so there is less boat traffic and allow those who want to, fish other tourneys. No pros or guides allowed. just a bunch of good ole boys who like to fish and try to take each others money. For more information, you can call 409-273-0222 and talk to Garret or send me a PM. Tournament Payout

The entry fee for each tournament will be $35 dollars a person. The payout will be 90% for each tournament with the other 10% going towards the total pot of the Championship Tournament on October 1st. Also, from each entry fee, $5 will go towards the Big Bass Pot. The payout will be as follows:

For Tournaments with 9 or less competitors,
1st Place- 70%
2nd Place-30%
Big Bass

For Tournaments with 10 or more competitors,
1st Place- 70%
2nd Place- 20%
3rd Place- 10%
Big Bass

For Tournaments with 20 or more competitors,
1st Place- 70%
2nd Place- 15%
3rd Place- 8%
4th Place- 7%
Big Bass

Ima get with you on this as i love to bass fish. Got a camp on 6 mile and at Rayburn.

I would love to fish that club but being that the bend is 4.5 hours away its not too practical.
btw my buddy had 26 lbs out of 6 mile last week. Its getting right up there.

Been getting alot of good reports from my camp on 6 mile looking like i might have to make a trip, water is so freaking low right now but that just means i can get up in there where the big boys have to cast too from open water.

i won it last weekend on rayburn .. that was some slow fishing!

How deep are they Master?

well on rayburn they were 15 , and me and cmelvin fished toledo the weekend before and caught them in 25 to 30 ,, while another guy we know was tearing them up in 45 lol

I got big into bass fishin a year or two ago and helped get a fishin club for our school through FLW...

I really need to learn how to fish deep water and get some more equipment like depth finders and stuff.

with the weather were having this week alot of those fish will be heading to the banks this next week to 2 weeks.

we caught 22lbs today in 44 degree water temps and not a fish was deeper than 4ft.
