Has anyone else noticed how late the spawn is this year. I caught 9 keeper bass over the weekend at Lake Fausse Point. Nice bass around 3 to 2 pounds. A bunch of 13 inchers as well. Every one of the keepers had eggs. Caught 5 sac-a-lait as well same thing.. Full of eggs.

I am still sight fishing spawning bass. 15 to 18 feet down in gin clear lakes in southern California. The water temps range between 65 and 75. I was thinking the same thing about how late it was. Last year this time out here I was catching them in summer patterns

i think everything is running late cause of the ongoing cool fronts water temp still a lil cooler than normal this time of year hints the reason late crawfish, shrimp still out in the bays, heck I saw some deer at my camp this past weekend still had horns. they have useually dropped by now at our place

My father fished a little club tournament in there this weekend and he told me the same story. Said the keepers they caught were just by luck. He said he probally measured 15 fish that didn't keep

Rayburn and Toledo spawned early, still catching quality fish to this day, weird how it changes so much between lakes

Dubie told me water temp was 70 today on the surface... I think the river rise put a hurtin on them in the basin.

I was catchin fish at the end of Febuary full of eggs as well..

I am goin in the marsh Thursday... If they still full of eggs there it will be late!

Yeah they found it dead a year later. That lake still holds quality fish thou. They stock it with rainbow trout about twice a month and re bass just gorge on them. What makes it bad is fishing 6lb test line with drop shot. Also the complete opposite way fishing swimbaits. Neither of which I care about

It's a surface drive dream, them big pretty boat didn't want no part of what we where in, although we had my buddy's 20' Basscat in it, I would have never even put my boat in that, he's gona be wax'n scratch's for a month.
