Being someone who mainly fishes saltwater, do the catfish that size contain worms? I know when large drums get that big they develop worms. Just curious if they are still good to eat at that large size... |

Yeah flat heads are the only fish I know of that get better when they get bigger. And for the bigger saltwater fish having worms, I've heard that all my life and I think it BS. I've caught 35# drum and reds with not a single worm. And I have caught barely legal drum, reds, and specs that were so full of worms that I don't even keep the meat. I'm not sure what causes certain fish to have worms but I don't think it's a size thing. |
