Ok, here is the deal. Bank approved for a new boat. Finally getting away from outboards. just trying to find out what kind of rig will run in shallow rivers...sabine...trinity...etc with 3 people, deck, fish...etc. guess so say a big load!! Like to have an open hull and single motor. Just trying to keep it simple. Would like you guys input on some ideas and what kind of motor/boat would be good for this.....any help and pics would be apprecited...thanks

You can check out my review on my 2060 gator tail. It does well with 3 people, deck, Genny, and fish.

If your lookin for a good used boat check out Crews' rig for sale in the complete rigs section. That boat would probably fit you well.

Honda or nothing. Remember you are going to be in close quarters with the thing all night and if you are like me you are going to be drinking like a fish and trying to get the women in the boat naked :D. Just remember never take it to serious.
