I have a buddy who runs the quiet series honda and am looking for something similar just dont want to spend that kind of money any other luck with a cheaper quiet generator? |

Subaru powered Homelite but it's not as quiet. Home Depot has the Husky branded version. |

Spend the money on the Honda or Yamaha and never look back.... one of the better investments I have made. |

I got a champion for 280 $ that does everything I want I have a 100 hrs on it and not a problem plus I run 3000 watts light, a Honda 3000 won't even run them for 2400$ and I can't run my lights !!mine can burn up tomorrow and I got my $ out of it!! |

I got the Generac IX2000... Love it!! Almost as quiet at Honda 2000, but its really close. Actually has 2000 running watts as opposed to Honda's 1600W. |
