Ok guys I did some looking on here and I still have some questions. This will be my first year hunting geese without my dad and I'm starting to stock pile my own stuff. My questions are how many decoys would I need to be putting out for my spread, which ones work best, which calls do yal prefer which layout blind would you pick for year around hunting, and any thing else you would add. Which fields to you prefer to hunt and under what conditions? I will for the most part be targeting snow geese in the Mississippi delta.

snow geese? lol good luck! gonna need a shit load of rags, $1500 dollars worth of full bodies, a couple people honking on the calls, and a good layout blind. I use the Avery Finisher Blind and love it! we mostly hunt specks down here and wait till we can use electronic callers for the snow geese. Illusion calls makes a pretty good snow call and so does redbone. youtube redbone calls and check it out, Nathan Wright is the guy who makes them and I had the pleasure of having him in my blind twice over the past two seasons. Unbelievable caller and a great guy. once again good luck with the snows..... their a bbiiootchh!

X2!! And its very hard to hunt the same flock of snows. They have very good memories. Big ass spreads is essential, as well as covering up to were you can barely see the sky.

See around here were lucky enough to have 500,000 geese migrate threw the area like every week when its right. How many rags would you consider enough for a spread?

And dont let anybody lie to you. People say they dont land on water. They WILL land in water if they know theres food there.

Dont waste your money on rag decoys, look into sillosock, deadlys, whiterock,Green Bay decoys. Had good luck with the sillosock flappers this year too. If things dont work out you can get most of your money out of them selling used. Were using X-landers and groundforces. If I had to run a call I would go with something that has hard doors, like the groundforce.

I have a trail full 7x6 trailer full of decoys layout blinds and all and for da record the easiest way is creeping them with some kent #5 1 3/4 fast lead. lol

for the money silosocks 39. bucks a dozen and they always move! the secrete is movement is mass numbers or a few decoys that look real. ebay ebay ebay. I have about 700ish in my spread with 150 silosocks 200 shells 9-12 dozen silouettes and 3 dozen full bodies
