I don't know how y'all spend crazy money on bowfishing just to shoot carp and other crap you don't eat. Not knocking y'all, but I wouldn't have spent the $1,000 + dollars on equipment if I couldn't shoot reds, black drum, sheepshead, flounders or at the minimum catfish.

Dude. No phuckin sh!t. I live in Alabama and have alot of friends that do it and it ain't nothing but senseless killing. What's the point in shooting the trashiest fish in the phuckin river?! I damn sho ain't gonna eat no carp or gar, I ain't nowhere near black enough for that. All they do is through them in a ditch. Does it look like fun? Phuck yea but I'm not spending no money on it. Same as predator hunting if there ain't no bounty, there's no point!

all fish we kill (Buffs/gar) are consummed by locals who are in need of food!!

All we shoot is carp up here have about 4 differnet types we can shoot but they never go to waste. It all goes to people that want or need it. and its not like its a pile of money every year once your setup you have it. In my boat we rotate who pays for gas every time we need it so not one person gets stuck footing the bill fo gas all season. I agree though it would be nice if we could shoot walleye up hear we see a pile at night on the sand flats

Have to shoot the carp out here they are taking over. At a tourney two weeks ago 9500 carp were taken. This didnt make a dent in the population here. Keep shootin.
