we do it for diver hunting on the River... it is nice to pick up... get a extension cord roll holder... it works perfect for picking up the main line... we keep our drops cliped to the decoys and just take the clips off the main line... its still not as fast a Tx Rig decoys... but it gives somthing for my 5ft tall wife to do since she would be under water in waders picking up Tx rig decoys... by the time we pick up our handful of decoys she is done with two long lines of 8 decoys each...

Alot of folks use this type set on the TN River out in the open water or large bays.. Must work alright cause they been dong it year after year.. Looks funny when you ride by a spead and all the dekes are in rows but guess the birds like it alright...

Rig em right makes quality, inexpensive drops with swivels on one end and long line clips on the other. I leave them on the decoys, and keep the main lines and grapnel anchors in a basket. It is by far the fastest and easiest way to deploy large numbers of decoys on big water. Just make sure to always set out down wind and pick up up wind. We always bust up the straight line look by dropping in some individually rigged decoys.

I agree Rig em right makes some nice stuff pretty resonable. If you price out all the line drops and quik connects it cheaper to just buy the ones they have set up already. I like to run mine in sloted bags they stay untangled and it makes for easy transport from garage to boat. U also don't have to un rig them. I run about 10 dozen diver decoys when we really wanna killem.

If you hunt with a dog make sure the lines are long anought for him to swim over with out getting tangled up in them.
