 Favorite Feed Call?
What's yalls favorite call for doing the feed call? I am going to get a good call this year and I am looking for suggestions. I like doing the feed call in the field so a call that does that well is my preference. Thanks

 Re: Favorite Feed Call?
Use the same one you hail with. If you're using a different call for hail and feed you're complicating the process too much.

cheap single reed works well, dont need much air, but you r better off with one call, you will eventually pick up the wrong one and thats a bad oops

Just a solo quack and watching the pattern and behavior of a bird will help you out more than anything.

 Re: Favorite Feed Call?
They still doing the feeder call and hail call up this way. I don't hear the feeder as often, but a lonesome hen out on the big water will throw that hail call up at birds way before we see them.
