I'm in the market for a new blind for duck season. Looking for a good durable lay out that has some waterproofing on the bottom, preferably one with waterproof up the sides. Cabelas used to offer one but can't find it any more. Any suggestions.

I like the ground force just cause it packs up nice and I can throw it in the boat.. U can also get the neo tub for and sit in like 8-10 inches of water. If you aren't worried about space the Pro Guide is a really comfortable blind. Thats from Final Approach

Since you already have an FA Blind, why not just get the Water Moccasin water proof tub for it?

I don't like the FA blind that I have it's a pain in the ass to put together and fold up.

I've got the Avery finisher with a Neo Tub and a Cabelas something another...... I like my Avery Finisher over the Cabelas one...... Cost a lot more but well worth the money if you hunt out of one a lot.

Is your FA the new style SUB they are a pain in the ass. My ground force and my finisher are supper easy to pack up. I keep the Pro Guide around for when we are field hunting cause it barely fits in the back of the truck. But the Pro Guide is one of the most comfortable blinds I have ever laid in

Fowl how deep of water can the two FA blinds you have go be for getting wet inside. I normally use my blind in water right on the edge of the bank up to like six inches of water.

I think with that water moccasin on you can sit in like 8 inches of water maybe a little more.. If I'm on the edge of the water like when we use them on the sandbars around here. I just wear my waders and don't worry to much about the inside getting wet. I just keep the shell bag and other stuff behind my head and it usually stays dry.. The dog gets kinda pissy when she has to lay in her blind and its in water all day... But thats her job

I just bought the Avery Migrator 2 from Rogers for 235 and free shipping. Not sure about the water proofing but I think its the same bottom as finisher only a little wider for my wider azz.
pretty good deal on this blind and I havent met many people that don't like the avery blinds.

Hey check out on ebay . For killzone layout blind. Its a ghg ground force blind without saying ghg. Its less than 100 with free shipping .my buddies got one can't tell difference in the two. Its cheap enough that if you wanted to get the tub it still wouldn't be too bad. I'm getting one quick

X Land'R

lowest profile

Sets up in literally seconds (practice inside before you brush it up and mud it up and you'll get it down to seconds)

Most comfortable (IMO) for a small sized blind of it's size

The new ones have little thinner material than old one I have but I've never had a problem with new one ripping or anything.

If you're going to be in wet conditions go ahead and get the water moccasin for it. Helps in times of long walks and water not weighing the blind down.

The only thing I don't like about it is the shoulder straps are closer to one end on the blind. So if you're in windy conditions it kinda is a pain to walk because it acts like a sail sticking above your head

Maybe its just me but by the time you set those things up and climb inside everything is already wet and muddy as hell. Might as well wear waders and sit on the ground with a back support and throw a cover over you. No forking around with that bundle of nasty crap.
