 White Lake bid results. Here they are: two were twice the min bid, ouch!!

Re: White Lake bid results. If you spend 232k a year on a lease, something you do not own, YOU ARE A MORON. I know that you'll have probably 50 guys busting it up, but that is still assinine. I can't fathom spending more than a grand on a lease and at that price I like to keep it to myself and maybe a buddy or two. It's amazing what Law Firms spend their capital on.... Aint too many ducks worth 40 bucks an acre!

Re: White Lake bid results. Up here the damn whitetail idots will spend up to 15 grand to hunt the 7 days of the rut. My neighbor spent 750,000.00 on a 100 acres of land. Just for a stupid deer.

Re: White Lake bid results. He bought it direct from the farmer who owned the property.. The guy who bought it already owns almost 100 acres and this property connected to his.. The farmer did'nt want to sell but this guy offered a ridiculous amount to get it

Re: White Lake bid results. If anyone had a high bid that was higher than the guy that has the lease now, the present lease holder can match the highest bidder and keep his piece of gold. Looks like at least a couple lease holders will have to come up wif quite a bit more than last years.
Is white lake that productive? U and your clients could go spend several weeks a year a La Finca Lodge in Mexico and kill more ducks and doves than u would see in Louisiana. And the available "entertainment" at the lodge is much better than you will find here.
