I got a good friend who's a Thompson fan he's got Contender and Encore He also builds barrels for both of which, calibers I have shot most of his Thompson stuff 17 through 375h&h im particularly curios on the 357 herrett. The 375h&h does not kick very bad at all!!! |

Bought a Contender in the early days when the frame cost 150.00 and barrels were 75 to 100.00 each.... Have half dozen barrels - all bad azz.... It is a sweet shooting machine.... |

I got a prohunter in 7mm-08 and never could get it to group worth a shit. Im not very impressed for the price of em. Wouldn't do it over again. |
