Ive never been much for mojos, but do know they work in the right situations. I beleive some motion in the spread might help a bit, so here's my question. What are y'all using or recommend? I've got a mallard mojo, but rarely use it. Im not just talking spinners, I'm talkin anything, from wake maker to vortex, to mallard machine, etc etc. |

i use the mojos with the remotes and quiver butts, i have a lot more success with water motion than i do with the flappers. i use the mojos during the first slpit and hardley ever after that. |

feeders i made with bilge pumps on the bottom, swiming mallards i made, and super mag pintail with a mojo dove wings and motor attached to its back. works wonders and teal want to hump it. |

I use a mallard machine. I hunt ponds with littlle or no water movement. It kinda depends on the day, but I think it helps. |

Man you gotta get one of those vortex! That thing is badass. No need to worry about water ripples. Hell you don't even need decoys. If you get you a vortex they will come. I don't know how people hunt w/out one. |

We hunt protected creeks with little water movement and little wind. I use several Higdon Pulsators, a Higdon swimmer, three Mojos and a Mallard Machine or two if things are Icing up. I actually have a vortex too, but I found that although it would attract ducks from farther away than I could see them, they would not close on it unless it was first light, snowing, or foggy. It's a bitch to set up too! |

VORTEX!!! Its all you need man. Petrel has too much other shit out there flopping around scaring his birds. |

I hunt in Florida and we dont get the big ducks that those states west of us do, but, by the time they get to me they have seen everything from Mojos to whatever that other shit these guys talk about ^. they work well on teal early, after that you may as well wear orange waders. |

I use a jerk rig, and bought a little propeller that hooks onto the keel of a decoy that actually work pretty well. Thinking about getting a pulsator. What about those "ure a duck" strutters? Any feedback on them? |

I use the ure-a-duck strutter. It looks real and makes a decent amount of ripples on the water too, you just have to take a little extra care with it because the wings and beak are somewhat brittle. I would call him and ask if the gears have gotten quieter and if they have a momentary off/on on the strutter yet, that is the only things that would make it better. LMK what he says. |

I think the mojo tree is waaayyyy overkill. The vortex is pushing it, I think it and the tree would flare more than it would bring in |

i made my three pulsator from the link stumpjumper provided and they worked perfectly this past weekend for both hunts without being charged between hunts. |

I put my grandson in one of those duck floating seats. He paddles around and has a great time. He's even the retriever when the dog gets tired. |

Try a wonderduck paddlewheel or too. Also try a swimmer duck from the Real Decoy company. The swimmer is only 54.95 and that thing hauls A#@. Mojo's are everywhere. Try using things that most people don't have and you will kill more ducks. |
