Whats a good camera for filming duck hunts? Have been looking at the go pros. just wondering what you guys are using? pros/cons for mounting etc. Thanks. |

Drift cam is awesome. Go pro is ok but we've gotten a lot of distortion with them in high shock emvironments. We use them as a point of view cam for filming bow hunts and have not tried it with a gun. Any if those smaller cams dont seem to give you great clarity though at any sort of distance (@20 yds doesn't clearly show the arrows impact on a deer's body) |

No problem...forgot to mention it's got a fish-eye lense.... Little different, cool thing is it rotates for however you have the cam mounted |

I have been using a go pro for filiming this season. Takes quality video for decoying birds but past about 30 yards you can't really see the birds. Also must use in bright light, can't use about the first 45 min of daylight. I have about a minute and half edited up if you want to check it out. Shoot me a PM and I'll send you the link. |
