Switched from 4000 watts of halo's to 3 400 watt MH's. easier on the genny and should have more light. 2 weeks till carp shooting opens so i havnt had them out on the water. anyone else running these MH? When i light them up in the driveway they are bright as F@@K!

The 3 lights are 90lbs. With me and 200 lbs of carp the boat is maxed. I live on the river i shoot so I'm not running big or rough water and only shoot when it's dead calm. Most of the fish I shoot are with in site of my property. I would love to find a 1648 or 1848 but in northern MN they are hard to come buy

That light on the bow almost looks like something that would b on front of a clown car it's so BIG.

Turned them on last night in the drive way. The neighbors came out to see what was going on

Here in Tn. they will jump in the boat and SLIM YOU.

In MN it is closed from the end of feb till may 1 to keep people from bothering the walleyes spawning in the rivers and the shallows. The carp do more harm to the walleye spawn than the few people chasing them
