We had the worst opener up here I have ever seen. Everyone I have talked to had the same results. Dont know what happened to the frogs,

Are they usually dead of "natural causes" by the time it's cleanin' time? If not, how do you kill 'em, or do you just start cleanin'?
(I'm not a frogs' rights advocate, so I don't care, just curious.

we usually grab them by hand ant they stay alive till cleaning.....but when you stuff a big sack full,the frogs get smashed and die and need to go on ice.also i find its easier to kill them on ice and water than to have to smack the heads on all of them.
not sure what youd call that sack but its a big mesh sack that the kids usually carry their foolball equiptmnt in,shoulderpads,helmet,pants,etc...
it will hold 325-400 frogs,depending on size.
