GHG Groundforce is Another good one. This year though, I am gunna make some 8'x36" pirouges outta Plywood to drag all my stuff across the flats then to lay in and hunt from in 1-2 feet of water. I find myself hunting in alot of places that are too deep of water to use my layout blind, but you still need a low profile to hunt. |

I'm not a huge fan of the groundforce blinds. I don't like how they fold up. I prefer an xlander (may only be able to get an x2 now) or a powerhunter if it's tough to hide. Sent using my bag phone |

Woodie, did you see my thread about "Hybrid Layout Boats"? I built a couple. Wood and fiberglass. There's a couple of links in the thread. Pretty easy to build. Seem like they'll work pretty well, but I haven't used them yet. |

i use a cabelas ultimate and i really like it so far. waterproof up to 10 inches but ive had it a little deeper than that and stayed dry. works great in 6 inches or less and has lots of room |

Sorry Quack Killa, this thread is Niggerred now ![]() Docott, I saw them. My thinking is I can make the Pirogues a little cheaper, easier, lighter, and more versatile than a hybrid. I can stack them ontop of each other in the boat for travel, and I like the open top vs. a cockpit. I would Imagine it won't hide you as well though. |

I got the Avery Migrator from Rogers last spring. After back surgery last summer I didn't even use it last season. I have hunted out of Finishers and liked them but mine has more room for my full figure. ![]() ![]() |

Check out the goose busters from Rogers. I hunted out of one a few times last year, they have tons of room and very reasonably priced. |

I have Finisher, Powerhunter, and 2 Cabelas Ults and i like the Cabelas the best because they are waterproof. You can get a neo tube for the avery blinds but that another 180 and you have to keep up with it. If i am hunting local lakes and have to walk/no cover i use my powerhunter. Cover it with souronding dirt/grass and you are ready. If you are just gettign into Layout Hunting i would start cheep (powerhunter) and work you way up. In a few years you will ahve a blind for every situation. |

I've been very pleased with my pair of Final Approach Eliminator Pro-Guide XLs. They are durable, super roomy and comfortable. I have the "water moccasins" on mine and they don't leak in up to 6" of standing water. |

Another good thing about the cabelas ultimate is they always run a sale on em for 149 bucks in duckblind and you can always get a 20 dollar coupon and free shipping |
