I'm sure people here will have some suggestions, but you'll find more Han you ever wanted to know about the subject here:

You have to sign up, but it's a good site.

Btw, you'll probably want to take a look at LED's. From what I understand, you can run them pretty much all night from a deep cycle battery. They are (relatively;) inexpensive, and most people seem to find the adequate.

I'm no expert, just what I've learned from my own research, but I'm sure the resident expert will reply at some point.

LEDs. Only other option is Fluresents (sp?) to run just on batteries. LEDs are really the only way to go. They are $39 each for 27 watts I believe. Buy them from customfitz on bowfishing

If its got a track you can put a carrage bolt in id build some mounts or a removable rail to mount them on so you can take off easy. Seems like that would be easy man. I'm considering leds but a buddy gave me a little Genny that is super quiet . I'm going to go with some 65w florescent lights they are allot brighter but I like the idea of no noise. Its kinda toeach his own ya know.

Thats good to hear- the batteries just a regular car battery?

Customfitz has got some new lights out one is a 50watt 12/24v and the other is like a 47 12/24v they aren't much bigger than the 27's. I am going with the 50's on my new build.
