OK, so I'm looking at a weekend getaway maybe to Grand Isle with the wife and GT. Is there any good places to fish the shallows in and around Grand Isle? Suggestions??

fish the bayside of grand isle. launch at bayside marina, go under the bridge towards the island out there and take a left(west). its like your following the road back towards fouchon and leeville. there is a lot of brokem marsh up in that area. you can catch a lot of reds and sometimes trout in there. if you want the trout stay out in the bay or fish under the grand isle bridge on bottom for white trout. a few weeks back they were catching trout on the gulf side just surf fishing.
