OK, so I'm looking at a weekend getaway maybe to Grand Isle with the wife and GT. Is there any good places to fish the shallows in and around Grand Isle? Suggestions?? |

fish the bayside of grand isle. launch at bayside marina, go under the bridge towards the island out there and take a left(west). its like your following the road back towards fouchon and leeville. there is a lot of brokem marsh up in that area. you can catch a lot of reds and sometimes trout in there. if you want the trout stay out in the bay or fish under the grand isle bridge on bottom for white trout. a few weeks back they were catching trout on the gulf side just surf fishing. |
