Just finished a bow deck tonight for a 1754 gator tail. They had some old aluminum bleachers we used for the deck. Came out pretty nice

After having a deck and just light rails never will I have a deck again If your boat is just for bow-fishing great but if not it's a pain in the ass to take it off and put it on. Nice deck though lol

I don't have a deck on my 1860, just removable, 3 piece light rails we do just fine without an elevated deck. The negatives outweigh the positives on a deck.

Most people who dont care for a deck, dont bowfish in daylight...
At night with lights no, its not needed.
But as nice as it is to fish with leds and no genny, its even nicer to fish clear water in daylight, with
No genny, lights, batts, or anything.....its a different ballgame......fish even sometimes act dirrerent during the day.

I added a deck to mine for more room, it doesn't taper with the boat. It's 12" but that was just to clear the lights underneath, I prefer it clean, no rails, flat all the way across.
