Hit a small remote river the other day to try and catch some flatheads. Over a bunch of sandbars and through stumps to get there. Pretty rough going with the river down. Fishing was slow so I threw out a crawler thinking at least we could catch some small channels or something. Immediately it gets whacked and we end up catching a bunch of these!!! Go fishing for cats and all that bites are these darn things!!!!! ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, that is a walleye. We caught quite a few smaller ones. This dude inhaled a 6" bluegill last night. Didn't know channels liked live gills so much! I just love the look on the faces of the bank fishermen at the boat ramp when I head upriver. ![]() |

We got into a mess of flatheads last night and one big channel almost 10lbs. |

i was thinking the same thing as draggin it looks like a green speckeled trout. i was wondering which chem. plant out fall you caught that one. |

We caught a bunch of channels on cut perch. Never tried live.. Gonna have to start tho. Good catch |

We have been catching some really nice channels on live gills the past couple of weeks. They are hitting the cut gills as well. |
