My neighbor hunts in the San Angelo area. He's brought me with him the last 4 years. I typically get to shoot a cull buck or doe. It's always a fun trip. They've killed some decent bucks over the years but this year he shot the biggest to date. My neighbor had game camera pics of this deer and already said if he see's the deer he's shooting. Opening morning the deer walked out at the stand I was hunting. I got 30 minutes of video of the brute. I was texting my neighbor that I was videoing the deer. He didn't believe me at first so I sent pictures and he started having a fit. lol That afternoon he hunted the stand I videoed the deer at but the deer didn't return. My neighbor was bummed. The next morning my neighbor sat on the stand again and the deer showed up around 9am. Needless to say he put the deer on the ground. It's a 12 point with a drop tine on the right antler. It grossed 156 inches B&C. This is a low fence, free roaming lease. Definitely a impressive buck for West Texas. Drop Tine.jpg Drop Tine1.jpg Drop Tine2.jpg |
