Looks like a good time for sure. One day I need to go look for a river hunt up there. No mallards on the coast.

Now I know all the "Secret" Spots. LOL. Just don't tell no one about the Texas bay system, that's my secret. :)

Post subject:  Re: East Texas Hunt

May not be secret spots, but I don't usually hunt that area and now know there is mallards there, so me, about 27 other boats, and anyone else who knows how to use google will be heading that way in the am. We're just going to post up at every ramp on the lake, wait till we hear people shooting, then drive straight to them, try to set up 70 yards or so from the guys shooting the most, and skybust anything heading in that general direction. Especially water turkeys and seagulls, I love shooting those fucking birds. Anyone know a good taxi that does work off the books? Oh, and then we'll show up early on Tuesday to claim our new spots.

Post subject:  Re: East Texas Hunt

hide all the maps!!!! shut down google earth!!!! god forbid someone name a piece of water........all I got to say is rayburn is a big piece of water...no one named a part of the lake to hunt. so let the internet ninja scouters go ride around and scout for a couple days. because you are not going to show up and find birds.........unless your hunting that little piece of flooded pasture over in the lower neches unit!!! lmao!!!

Author:  Crews [ Mon Nov 26, 2012 4:16 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: East Texas Hunt

No shit Sherlock..,. That's not the point. Some other no talent ass clown reads that folks are shooting birds on Rayburn, so he goes and drives around aimlessly looking for them. During the process of scouting, he jumps up birds. The more times the birds get jumped up, the more likely they are to leave.

I don't really know why I bother to explain this to you nerds. It's obvious that you only have marginal success in your own hunting careers, or you'd be a little more protective of the areas you hunt.
