North Alabama Public Land Buck

 North Alabama Public Land Buck I harvested this buck last week in Bankhead forest. I have exclusively bow hunted this season but took my 30-30 out for the first time on this hunt and this big boy came in at 30 yards; would have been a perfect shot for a bow. This is by far the biggest buck I have personally ever seen, he field dressed 185 pounds and had a 20 inch spread. the base of his antlers was 7.5 inches on one side and 8 on the other. He has 15 points in all, lots of stickers around brow tines.
