They are quiet even with magnum loads plus give added range and a tighter pattern. |

I didn't read the link, but I know that for a period of time they were using sub sonic loads and were very quiet. I've never fired one. Don't they screw in like a choke tube? Sent using my bag phone |

Yes and yes, I think. They screw in like choke tubes. Have 60+ ports on the underside. Some seem to use subsonic rounds, but others maybe the ports and length result in subsonic. Either way, being subsonic is why they are quiet. |

Does not give added range. The shot shell has burned all it's loaded powder at 24 inches after that more drag = slow shot |

They were invented by a guy in Rochester,mn I believe so they could hunt geese inside city limits. I remember an outdoor show about these way back. |

I guess you unscrew it, then put it on when you get to the blind! If I had one, I'd brush it up to look like a tree so it wouldn't look like a seven foot antenna sticking out of the blind ![]() Be a bitch to hunt timber! |
